By way of introduction, my name is Dan Hannon and I have been operating my own claims investigation and adjusting business since 1983. I have close to 30 years of experience as a fraud investigator, medical malpractice field adjuster and police officer.
When I formed Daniel J. Hannon & Associates in 1998, I hand picked the most qualified personnel from my previous company, and added staff that had specific backgrounds in insurance claims, law enforcement and nursing. I am proud to say that this combination of experienced talent has made DJH a recognized leader for providing claims investigation, trial preparation and surveillance services throughout the states of New York and New Jersey.
Unlike many independent adjusters/investigators, we have very little staff turnover at DJH. The loyalty and dedication of our entire staff is something of which I am very proud. Although some of our entry level investigators eventually leave the firm to pursue other careers, usually in some type of law enforcement endeavor, I have been told many times that the experience they gained while at DJH served them well in these endeavors.
In a nutshell, we love what we do. We realize that the information we obtain during the course of a surveillance or investigative assignment is oftentimes crucially important in your decision making process, that is , to pay or not to pay, defend or settle, prosecute for fraud, etc.
